Due to Chinese New Year Fireworks Display 2026 will be held at sea surface of Central, the following special transport arrangements for ferry service will be in effect on 18 February 2026:

Last sailing before harbour closure: 18:00
Sailing to be postponed: 20:00
First sailing after harbour re-opening: 21:00*
Departures from Central
Last sailing before harbour closure: 18:30
Sailing to be postponed: 20:30
First sailing after harbour re-opening: 21:30*
* The first departures will be subject to the re-opening time of harbour.

To cope with police crowd control for 2026 Chinese New Year Fireworks Display, NR338S bus services will implement temporary arrangements. Please refer to the details below:
Additional departure will be provided at 20:00 from Park Island. The 19:00, 20:00, 21:00 &22:00 trips from Park Island will terminate at Hong Kong Station (IFC) and the Central Ferry Pier bus stop will be temporarily cancelled.
Actual implementation and adjustment to road closures at the time depending on the prevailing circumstances. This diversion will resume normal when the temporary traffic arrangement has completed. Passengers are advised to reserve ample journey time.
